A look at Kevin Durant’s Endorsements

Kevin Wayne Durant is a world-known basketball player. He currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. Kevin enjoys massive popularity. As a result, he was the 10th highest-paid athlete in the world in 2019. Kevin is also amongst the richest celebrities in the world. Interestingly, a majority of Kevin’s income comes from endorsements. Out of the $65.4 Million that he made in 2018-2019, $35 Million came from sponsorships and advertising. Let’s take a look at the brands that contributed towards Kevin’s income. 

In 2014, Kevin Durant joined forces with sportswear brand, Nike. The 10-year deal is estimated to be worth $300 Million and also includes a $50 Million retirement package. 

In 2018, Kevin featured in an ad commercial for Google Assitant which also had Sia, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.

Alaska Air Group
Kevin Durant teamed up with Alaska Air Group in September 2017, to support youth and education programs in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Kevin is one of the many faces of Beats by Dre.

American Family Insurance
Kevin was roped in as a brand ambassador of American Family Insurance in 2015.

Multinational Spanish banking group BBVA first joined hands with Kevin in 2013.

Sparkling Ice
Kevin’s association with beverage brand, Sparkling Ice, began in 2014.

Kevin partnered with the trading card company, Panini, in 2016.

NBA 2K is a series of basketball sports simulation video games. Kevin has been one of its many faces for a few years now. 

Kevin featured in a Gatorade commercial in 2013. 

Sonic Drive-In
Kevin teamed up with drive-in fast-food restaurant chain, Sonic Drive-In, in 2014.

Before Kevin started endorsing Beats by Dre, he used to advertise for rival brand, Skullcandy.

In the past, Kevin has also endorsed Telecommunications company, Sprint.
