The Coca-Cola Company’s subsidiary brand, ThumsUp, has released a new TVC under its campaign, #TakeCharge, featuring brand ambassador, Ranveer Singh. Directed by Abhinay Deo, the one-minute advertisement also features model, model Diva Dhawan.

The ad film is set in a desert on the border of Namibia and South Africa. Ranveer and Diva are playing the roles of investigative journalists, who are stuck in the uninhabited area after their plane crash. They are in a hopeless situation, but thanks to some ThumsUp, they are charged up to save themselves. They use the wreckage of the plane to reach a safe territory.

The exact same advertisement will also be released with Mahesh Babu in the lead instead of Ranveer Singh. As both these men are the brand ambassadors of ThumsUp in India, as a trend, the brand makes TVCs featuring them in the same roles.

ThumsUps’s #TakeCharge is a 360-degree campaign that will be active on television, print, outdoor and digital media with multiple consumer touch points across India.
