WhatsApp India’s recent campaign with three strong ad films narrates examples where people successfully put an end to rumors. The TVCs show how one must be careful before circulating messages which aren’t backed by proof. They aim to curb fake news and make the users more aware as citizens.

To ensure that everybody understands the message, the videos have been done in 10 different languages. They will be heavily advertised across all mediums including television. As Rajasthan and Telangana elections are nearby, the advertisements can help in giving a fresh mindset to the voters.

The idea of these adverts was developed by Taproot Dentsu, it was put to real under the direction of Shirsha Guha Thakurta from Oink films. The names of the girls and the boys aren’t known, we will update the post as soon as we have more information.
