Noted Indian actress Alia Bhatt has been roped in as the brand ambassador of Uber Eats in India. It is the first time the global brand has gone with the method of using a celebrity as the center of marketing activities.
Uber Eats is planning to market itself extensively on the digital front. Consumers can expect to see Alia in different moods and social media avatars.
On this association with the brand, she excitedly Alia said, “My work hours and plans keep changing, so the freedom/flexibility to get what I’m craving whenever I want, right at the tap of a button, almost seems magical. At present, Uber Eats is available in 37 cities in India, and is competing with Zomato, Food Panda, Swiggy in the food delivery sector in the country.
