According to Forbes Magazine, Cristiano Ronaldo was the highest paid athlete in the world in 2017. His total earnings were $93 Million, almost $35M of which came from endorsements. This year, he is number 3 on the table. On the brighter side though, his income has increased to $108 Million with almost $47 Million coming from brand promotions.

In November 2013, Cristiano in partnership with Scandinavian manufacturer JBS Textile Group and the New York fashion designer Richard Chai, co-designed a range of underwear and sock line. CR7 represents Ronaldo’s initials followed by his jersey number.

Herbalife is a Global Nutrition company which began to sponsor Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo in 2013. There contract also had scope for the two to co-brand range of sports nutrition products.

Save the Children
“The Save the Children Fund, commonly known as Save the Children, is an international non-governmental organization that promotes children’s rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries.” Ronaldo launched a selfie app in 2016 to help this mission and to generate funds for it.
