Over 6 years ago, Cadbury 5 Star brought in the characters of Suresh and Ramesh to promote their product on electronic media. Since then, the two men have become an essential part of 5 Star’s advertising campaigns. Looks like even in 2018, the brand isn’t ready to let go of them.
To promote their latest variant, 5 Star 3D (with chocolate crème and biscuit balls), the brand has come up with a new ad film starring Rana Pratap Senger and Goldie Dugga as Ramesh-Suresh. The duo is seen looking at a painting. As soon as they take a bite of 5 Star 3D, the waters in the canvas begin to move and the birds begin to fly away. Ramesh and Suresh jump in the painting and enter a ramp but in their minds, they are swimming in the beautiful lake.
Cadbury 5 Star is owned by one of the world’s largest snacks companies, Mondelez. This TVC has been conceptualised by Ogilvy India. It is still not public on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
