Nivea Men has teamed up with the most popular football club in the world, Real Madrid. Their association first began in 2013 for the Spanish Market but now it has been extended to over 70 countries including India. This current development went live on December 23, 2017, with the El Clásico match.

The brand has already released a film with the hashtag #PreparationIsEverything to announce the collaboration. There is also one behind the scene video available on Youtube where all the players share how they prepare themselves for a match. Sergio Ramos, Lucas Vázquez, Marcelo and Isco reveal various unknown things about the team in a candid conversation.

Football fandom in India is on the rise and such brand endorsements will only help the brand to further strengthen its roots in the country. The brand will be focusing Television, digital, on ground and point of sale methods of advertising.

Well, 2017 has been a rough year for Nivea with so many racism accusations. Let us hope that with this new occurrence in the brand’s life, it will scale new heights in 2018.
