A good advertisement has a long life. Not just because the audiences remember it forever but also because a brand can use that ad time and again. Today, I witnessed Fevikwik Pidilite doing the exact same thing.
This particular ad was made in the year 2009. It was done by famous ad maker Prasoon Pandey and his team. Imagine the power of this TVC that the brand went ahead and presented it during today’s KBC break. Not to forget that Kaun Banega Crorepati is at present enjoying the highest TRP on Indian Television.
At moments like these, the quality of the video does not matter. A bigger human instinct called memory overpowers everything else. This ad reminded me of the famous tagline ‘Chuti Mein Chipkaye – Fevikwik’. And as an ad lover, I now feel a certain amount of respect towards the brand.
In today’s time, when people are all running behind brand ambassadors and audio-video quality, taking a step of playing almost a decade old advertisement deserves all applauds.
