Ghadi detergent is one of the oldest and most popular brands of the RSPL group. A couple of months back a campaign #SaareMaelDhoDaalo was started for this product. An ad film – Is Holi Saare Mael Dho Daalo, was subsequently launched during the time of Holi and Women’s day. It became viral with almost 5 million views and gathered a lot of appreciation.
Now continuing from where they left, Ghadi is back with a new film under the same campaign, to celebrate the season of Eid. Like the previous video, this one too has been conceptualised by ADK Fortune but a different production house – Full Circle Films.
Through this video, the brand is asking people to get over the past and mend broken relationships by apologising for our wrong doings. A couple, played by actors – Sunny Hinduja and Shirin Sewani, is discussing who all will come to their place for Eid dinner. The wife encourages her husband to call his old friends and say sorry for the things he didn’t do right. He does exactly what he is asked for and the dinner table is full of people. In the end, the husband apologises to his wife too for spoiling the table mat (use of the product). They hug and the video ends with the message – Is Eid Saare Mael Dho Daalo.. Ek sorry hi to hai…bol daalo!
