Google Home targets diversity by featuring a gay couple in the new ad

Google home answers to multiple users, and to promote this Google has made a video featuring a gay couple. Powered by Google Assistant, Google home responds to users’ questions or requests and can differentiate between the voices of people.

In the 33 seconds long ad film ‘Carpool’, the two men ask google about their respective schedules and then decide on who will drop the kids off at school. The video doesn’t overdo the gay aspect in any way. Therefore in a subtle way, Google home has tried to reach out to various diverse households in the US and other countries.
